Product Data Requirements

Kaufland relies on EAN-based product assignment. Each item requires a valid EAN (European Article Number) through which the product is matched to the Kaufland catalog. When a product already exists in the catalog, basic data like product name and main image are taken from the catalog – sellers add price, inventory, and optionally their own product descriptions.
